Da T.R.U.T.H. on TBN

Ok,
So I have plenty of work to do, and an assignment I'm in the process of completing right now, but I have to mention this. My favorite hip-hop artist, and friend, TRUTH, is going to be on TBN's Praise the Lord tonight at 10 pm (EST). I'm not the biggest TBN fan (do I foresee some comments on that one?), but I do love the ministry and music of TRUTH, Kirk, and Fred, who will all be featured tonight. I'll update this site soon enough to do more features of Cross Movement artists and their mission, but just trust me on this one, my man, Manny lays it down for Christ! If he performs "Legacy", be prepared to be convicted to the core.

Brand-new

Ok,
So we're brand-new to the blogging scene, so please be patient. I (Dee) will probably be the one who does the most posting here, since I tend to have more time on my hands, well, at least in front of a computer. Stacey and I are doing really well. We just came back from
Myrtle Beach with her family, which was really good. The tradition is that we have Thanksgiving with the extended family in NC, then the Hartnesses hit the road that night to the small apartment building they own (4 apts). Then the festivities begin Friday morning at Dino's for breakfast, then the outlet malls to do Christmas shopping. It's here that Stacey and I sneak around each other and use other family members as decoys for hiding gifts we may have picked up for one another. As you can imagine, it's hard fighting the temptations of secularism, greed, and idolatry while also purchasing gifts. Well, I could go on about that, but I'm sure you know the struggle as well.
This week I'm back in front of the CPU trying to get some church work done. I have a ton of youth Sunday school stuff to do, a load of reimbursements to submit, and this weekend is our monthly Racial Harmony Roundtable discussion as well. Not to mention seminary winding down. I'm thinking about taking either Apologetics this Winter term, or Systematics III in the Spring. This will be my last semester paid for by
DGCC, and potentially my last class taken at RTS-Charlotte. So please be praying for me. I could say much more, but as a first post I'll keep it short. Keep checking here every few and I'll keep you updated on our lives and ministry.

Bless you guys,
Dee (Phil 3:13-14)
